The John L. Kuykendall Events Center & Arena is owned & operated by the City of Llano and is large enough to accommodate even the largest of events without all of the hustle and bustle of a big city. We are a multi-purpose complex used for rodeos, equestrian & livestock events, trade shows, banquets, concerts and other public or private gatherings.

About the MRCA
The MRCA is the premier rodeo organization representing our active duty military and veteran community. We strive to provide high quality rodeo events for our members that allow them to pursue their rodeo dreams while still honoring their commitment to military service. The MRCA is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supporting veterans.
Our history is long, starting in 1989 we organized events across the globe to recognize our military cowboys and cowgirls. Under our motto of “The Armed Forces and Rodeo, Two Great American Traditions”, we sanctioned 100’s of rodeos until 9/11/2001. Due to military commitments, we were forced to suspend operations until 2018 when we were able to reconstitute the association and begin to rebuild. We are now pursuing opportunities across the United States to sanction rodeos that will qualify our members for the World Finals Rodeo. Come ride with us as we are
